UCD COMMUNITY CHOIR
The UCD Community Choir was officially launched at the beginning of October, 2016 and is an initiative supported by the UMT Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Group in collaboration with the UCD College of Science. They
currently have more than 120 members from all across the UCD community and the choir is directed by the incredibly talented choir master Caoimhe O’Neill. The UCD Community Choir has performed at events to mark World Cancer Day, International Women's Day and UCD Mental Health Awareness Week. The choir performs annually at the UCD Festival and in 2018, was the recipient of a UCD Values in Action award in recognition of its contribution to bringing the UCD Values to life.
Susie is a former UCD Ad Astra Performing Arts Scholar and graduated from UCD in 2014 with a first class honours degree in Psychology. Susie is currently studying voice at the TUD Conservatory of Music and Drama under Colette McGahon-Tosh. Susie has most recently performed with Irish National Opera and made her role debut in January with TUD Opera as Dido in ‘Dido and Aeneas’ by Purcell. Susie will be continuing her studies in September at the Royal College of Music in London where she will be studying a Master of Performance.
